As we continue our 3rd market season in the giant outdoor event space at Urbanite Pdx, we continue our devotion to our mission statement of amplifying small business, and supporting the continued joy that comes from building a cohesive uplifted community.
It all began with an idea.
We are fourth generation locals who created Portland’s first safe and covid compliant market April 2020, in the heart of the pandemic. We opened to support the deep and varied PDX small businesses in our community who were shouldering the losses and struggling to make ends meet, from market and brick and mortar closures.
We understand-everyone needs to make money and be promoted
The last two years we have rented out our lot to to other markets who ran their own shows
Ultimately it wasnt a great match. Markets didn’t bring our passion or care to what they did & vendors seemed to be left in the lurch
This is a return to our deep decades-long roots of us running our own markets
We promote well, we elevate with all our resources, we have tv and media spots scheduled, and we share with our urbanite social of over 45 thousand followers
So we hope this will be a win for everyone involved
